Admission Fee to the State Hermitage

400 roubles - regular entrance ticket to the Main Museum Complex.

The following special prices are valid for the Main Museum Complex:

100 roubles - entrance ticket for adult citizens of the Russian Federation
(documents stating the Russian citizenship must be presented);

100 roubles - entrance ticket for foreign citizens working at the institutions accredited at the territory of the Russian Federation and having a residence permit issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation
(corresponding documents must be presented: passport, ID, residence permit).

Free entrance ticket:

• children of preschool and school age, students (irrespective of their citizenship);
  
• retired citizens of the Russian Federation.

Free admission to the State Hermitage is also granted to:

• enlisted soldiers and sailors;
• employees of the museums of the Russian Federation;
• members of the unions of artists, architects, designers and members of the Russian Academy of Arts;
• members of ICOM;
• Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation, holders of the Order of Glory of all degrees, Heroes of Socialist Labour, holders of the Order of Glory in Labour of all degrees, veterans of WWII, invalids of WWII, holders of the medal 'Defender of Leningrad' or 'Citizen of the Besieged Leningrad', invalids of group I and II, parents with many children.

Free ticket (except tickets for children of pre-school and school age) is granted upon presentation of documents confirming the right to a free ticket.

First Thursday of each month - free admission to the museum for all categories of individual visitors (for free tickets).

This is not applied to guiding services.

Price for the entrance ticket to other buildings of the museum complex:
The General Staff building, the Menshikov Palace, the Winter Palace of Peter I, the Porcelain Museum, 60 roubles (to each of the museums).
Free admission - for all categories of the visitors having right to free admission to the State Hermitage.

Photography and video costs
200 roubles - ticket for amateur photography and video.

Special exhibitions
300 roubles - ticket to the Treasure Gallery - Diamond room (No. 1);
300 roubles - ticket to the Treasure Gallery - Gold room (No. 2).
The tickets are bought together with the entrance ticket.

The ticket is valid for one entrance to the museum on the day of its purchase.
An unused ticket can be returned only on the day of its purchase provided that the cash register receipt is kept. The cost of an unused ticket is refunded in full (100%).
